[ ]Level One
After exiting the lift on the first level of the Ministry of Magic you will find yourself in a long dark hallway, the walls are made of a dark stone lined with torches and the floors are marble creating a very cold atmosphere on this level. There are doors on either side of this dark corridor, each opening up into smaller rooms where there is a ton of activity going on. The Department of Magical Law Enforcement can be found on this level, each of those doors guard the entrance to the offices of the head of the department, all the upper level staff, and many of the more public positions of the Ministry. At the end of the hall there is a small set of steps that lead down to a rather large oak door flanked by two torches. This is the office of the Minister of Magic Milicent Bagnold.

[ ]Level Two
The different divisions within the Department of Magical Law Enforcement are located on this floor. Just as on Level One there is a hallway that you must walk down after getting off the lift. Once at the end of the hallway there is a door that leads into what looks like a regular muggle corporate office building. There is a large room with windows on two sides that depict whatever whether the maintenance crew feels like displaying each day and there are dozens of cubicles set up in the center of the room. Apart from the windows, the main difference in this room from a muggle office is the fact that the cubicles are filled with witches and wizards called Aurors, carrying wands and poring over wanted posters for dangerous criminals, many of them the Dark Lord's Death Eaters. This area has become the most busy place in these dark times. On the far side of the room there is a door that leads to a small dark hallway, on the left hand side there is a broom closet and on the opposite side of that is a door that leads to the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Department which deals with every day muggle items that have been bewitched or experimented on by witches and wizards around the country.

[ ]Level Three
The third level of the Ministry of Magic has been witnessing an enormous amount of activity as well in recent times. This floor houses the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes with the divisions of the Accidental Magical Reversal Squad, the Invisibility Task Force, the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee, and the Obliviator Headquarters. This floor isn't much to look at at first but if you choose one of the four doors in the short hallway that shoots off from the lift you will find an intense network of offices, cubicles, and doors leading to other restricted areas. This floor is responsible for all the situations that involve muggles and the magical communitie's dealings with muggles.

[ ]Level Four
On Level four of the Ministry of Magic lies the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. The Department consists of three divisions: the Beast Division, the Being Division, and the Spirit Division. They handle complaints about magical creatures, including goblins and ghosts, they regulate and monitor breeding of new magical creatures. There are constantly all kinds of creatures and different species walking about on this floor trying to get jobs, find homes, or other reasons. There are a few sub divisions on this level which include Centaur Liaison Office, the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures, the Dragon Research and Restraint Bureau, the Pest Advisory Board, the Werewolf Capture Unit, and the Werewolf Registry in the Beasts Division. And the Goblin Liaison Office, the Office of House Elf Relocation, and Werewolf Support Services in the Beings Division.

[ ]Level Five
This level includes the: International Magical Trading Standards Body, the International Magical Office of Law, and the International Confederation of Wizards, British Seats. All manners of odd things can be seen on this floor whether its strange items that are being evaluated for trading on the Wizarding market from the International Magical Trading Standards Body. Or perhaps groups of stuffy witches and wizards from all over Britain coming in for business with the International Confederation of Wizards. The most interesting office on this floor however has to be the International Magical Office of Law. Where the laws of the Wizarding world are made, passed, and revised.

[ ]Level Six
This level includes the Floo Network Authority, Broom Regulatory Control, Portkey Office, and Apparation Test Center. Beware of the droppings everywhere, Interdepartmental memos are sent by owls. Upon entering this untidy floor one first will reach the Floo Network Authority on the right, marked so by a glass door which opens up into a whole sub section of cubicles and offices of different departmental staff. On the left side of the hall is the Broom Regulatory Control office, this is a large open area where new brooms are tested and retested to make sure that they are suitable for the marketplace. The door to this area are made of metal on one side and covered in foam on the other just in case anyone crashes into it. Further down is the Portkey Office which is where witches and wizards work round the clock to update portkeys, make new portkeys, and keep close eye on those that are currently in usage and where they are being used. At the very end of the hall is the door to the Apparation Test Center and outside this door is a row of chairs along the walls where quite often a few eager and anxious of age witches or wizards can be seen waiting until it is their turn to take their Apparation test.

[ ]Level Seven
This level includes the, British and Irish Quidditch Headquarters, Official Gobstones Club, and Ludicrous Patents Office. This level is also an untidy corridor with various posters of Quidditch teams tacked lopsidedly on the walls. This floor is always hustling and bustling with various members of the department who are working on different assignments and the occasional witch or wizard who comes in trying to push their ideas or patents through.

[ ]Level Eight
The reception area where all of the witches and wizards that work at the Ministry gather to head to work. The place has a dark wood floor with fireplaces on each side and a peacock blue ceiling that is inlaid with gleaming golden symbols that may be some kind of a notice board. In the Atrium there is the Fountain of Magical Brethren, and at the far end of the Atrium is the Security desk and a great pair of golden gates that lead to the elevators.

[ ]Level Nine
The walls of this floor are bare, there are no windows and no doors apart from a plain black one set at the very end of the corridor. What is behind the door? No one except those who work in the department know that for sure. To the left of the door is a small flight of steps to Level 10. It is unclear what exactly the Department of Mysteries does and those who work there are called Unspeakables. Their work is top secret and they do not speak of it or about it. In fact, few speak at all. The witches and wizards that work here are some of the most trusted and revered in the Ministry.

The Courtrooms cannot be reached by the elevator (lift). It is a corridor with rough stone walls and torches supported by huge brackets. There are heavy wooden doors with iron bolts and keyholes. Each of these heavy wooden doors are the entrance ways to the Courtrooms where the Wizengambot proceed over trials.
