Noel sat at the edge of the lake after her third period. She looked up at the sky and frowned wondering if she was truly meant to be here. Be at Hogwarts, be a witch. Her father was happy that she was and taught her many things about being a witch. He even helped her train for her first quidditch lesson. He sent her letters almost every week, he seemed always so happy for her.
Noel sighed at the fact that her mother would never agree with her lifestyle. Being a witch was not part of the plan and she still hadn't accepted it fully. Noel brought her legs closer almost putting herself in a ball. She sighed and looked at the shiny glimmering sparkles that came within the lakes dark beauty knowing the being that lived within its depths.

Sin was hurried. Bennett and her had fought, that never ended well for Sin, she was to attached to him, there was no life for her with out him. She pushed the screaming from her mind and stalked down to the lake. Her favourite spot beckoned. Bennett knew where she would be going, he always knew, so he could find her if he wanted.
Sin adjusted her glasses as she got closer, squinting. A girl with curly hair came into focus. "Fucking Danica." DG was the last person Sin needed around her at the moment. There wasn't really anyone she needed around her. Not even Alick or Bennett. She sulked as the girl came into focus more. It looked a lot like Danica. Sin considred turning around, but saw a flash of yellow on the girls robes. She breathed a sigh of relief, it wasn't Danica after all. Though a Hufflepuff wasn't much better.
"Freaking Huffles.." In Sin's mind they were unless, leftovers and should all be disposed of.
She sat down on a rock, close enough to the girl that if she said anything to her, Sin could turn around and Hex her. In fact, she really hoped that she did start something, Sin needed some form of release.

Noel turned around and noticed a girl running up near her. She looked distressed as if something terrible had just happened to her. Noel being as kind has she was of course wondered and wanted to make her feel better. She was a little resistant though, seeing the green on her robes indicating that she was indeed a Slytherin student. Noel got up and brushed herself off and walked over to the girl sitting on a rock.
"Hello? Pardon me, but you look troubled...Can I help?"

Lizzie was walking towards her favorite spot by the lake when she saw that just a little ways over was Noel and a Slytherin. Looking closely Lizzie saw that it was Asirin, she would know that face and stature anywhere. This truly was going to be an interesting day so far. She ran a little noting that Asirin looked to be in a rather foul mood and that would not be good for Noel. Then she heard Noel ask if she could help and she picked up her speed knowing that Asirin's idea of help would be to hex Noel.
Calling out to probably her least favorite student Lizzie said, "Asirin you even think of letting your anger out on her and you will have me to deal with." Lizzie had made it and was now standing in between Noel and Asirin in a very defensive stance and made sure she could reach her wand in an instant.

Asirin whirled around, her wand drawn and pointed at the other girl, her green eyes fierce behind her glasses. "Help me? Oh go to hell. You can't fucking help me. Now I suggest you scurry off into another direction before I hex you so much you will never know what hit you." Sin smiled, it made her feel a little better already to have someone to take her aggression out on. She heard footsteps, an turned her gaze towards the castle. A small part of her hoped it was Bennett, but she was instantly corrected when Lizzie Porter showed her face. Sin was in to much of a foul mood to let Lizzie bother her.. But then the stupid girl spoke. Her voice was so annoying.
"Is that supposed to be a threat Porter?" Sin giggled, toying with her wand. Two Hufflepuffs against one Slytherin. Now that was more like it.
"You would be the one to save the day, wouldn't you?" She watched the girl take a defensive pose, and almost laughed out loud. "Don't worry, your precious little friend is jsut walking away..and so should you. Sin gestured to the castle, and smiled. Under her breathe she added "Bitch.."

Noel frowned and shook her head. She wished that the girl could have at least been nice to tell her just no instead of threatening her. Noel gave the girl a gentle smile and walked over towards Lizzie. Noel smiled at Lizzie and gave her a silent Thank you. Noel turned back at the girl and said.
"If you feel in a better mood. i wouldn't mind talking if you need to talk." She gave a slight bow and moved a piece of hair away from her face.

Lizzie looked at Asirin hearing her side comment of bitch and she reacted, "You think you are all so high and mighty just because you are a Slytherin, you have the right to look down on us. Hufflepuffs are not leftovers we are the ones who always remain loyal to our causes and for me that is to protect my friends. I would also think you would know well enough not to cross me since I am one of the best duelists in my year."
Lizzie was still quite furious that Asirin had drawn her wand on Noel and that she was willing to take out her anger on her just for some simple amusement. She knew that there would never be a chance for them to be friends and they would remain enemies so she decided to fuel the hate they each shared. "Oh and are you angry at your brother, or some girl that is trying to claim him?"

"She doesn't have to think she's high and mighty Porter. She is, because she's a Slytherin, and you are just a Hufflepuff which is puts you in league with the toilet paper of the castle. Ohh no look out Sin, she's the best duelists in her year." DG's voice was loud and clear as she took long strides across the ground.
"Kiddie spells and disarming your opponent is for beginners and those too weak to do what needs to be done to ensure victory. Wouldn't you agree Sin?" It was then that she pulled out her own wand and stepped past Porter to stand next to Sin cocking an eyebrow at the loud mouth Hufflepuff.
"Honestly, you would think that the trash would learn their lesson and know their place. Guess we'll have to remind them of how things work around here."

Asirin shifted her gaze to Danica, where the fuck did she come from. Sin bit back a giggle, but a smile played at her lips. Danica was a welcome presence, Sin would never admit to it, but she knew right now, she needed someone with her, be it even someone she wasn't all that fond of.
Her eyes danced, her wand was drawn. "They won't learn, ever. They are useless, trash, and disgraceful. It's time to make sure they remember us, and that they are below us."
"Inverte Statum!" Sin screamed it, and the light shot towards Lizzie. She turned to Danica and eyed Noel at the same time. "Your turn.." The was an evil, menacing tone in her voice, she knew it. It made her happy. "Are you going to run, Porter? Or are you going to live up to being 'the best duelist in our year' Of which I a sure you are not. Alex, Danica or I could mop the floor with you."

Lizzie really was not all that surprised that Asirin had started a duel of sorts as soon as she had some back up. She obviously thought that she was going to back down even though that would never happen. This had become personal, since not only was she fighting for her honor she was fighting for the honor of all the Hufflepuffs. She non verbally cast Protego and then as she watched the spell deflect of the shield she stood carefully.
She couldn't help but think, This is just fucking brilliant, Asirin has backup and I may be one of the best duelists but that is during one on one duels nothing like this.
"Is that your best Asirin, if it is well this will be over before it has even started." Lizzie taunted hiding her true thoughts on the matter.
She then said. "Reducto" aiming the spell just before her feet so as to cause debris to fly up into Asirin's face. Then in a split second she turned and said, "Incarcerous" and had it aimed at Danica. She knew that this was not going to be enough to end this but at least she proved she was not going to run away, though she knew given the odds she was rather foolish as well.
She quicky looked over her shoulder to see where she was in relation to Noel and saw that she was still safely placed behind her. "Noel, I would suggest you get out of here"

Noel rushed over to Lizzie and grabbed her arm. She didn't want one of her best friends to be hurt in a battle that meant absolutely nothing but the showing of pride. Noel tried to drag Lizzie away to run with her.
"Lizzie we can't do this. It's against the rules and you could get hurt. We both can't fight them and showing off your pride is not worth getting expelled!" Noel tried to push Lizzie to following her back to the school.
Noel felt terrible for starting this. She had only wanted to help the girl but instead she just ticked her off. She didn't want Lizzie hurt because of an honest mistake that Noel herself had made.

There was a flick of the wrist and a slashing motion from DG's wand that blasted Porter's spell right back at her. She had stopped the debris from hitting either her or Sin with her free hand and laughed a soft but unnerving laugh as she sent it right back at her.
"Do you honestly think you can beat either of us? Forget both of us together because by the time anyone realizes that you're dead you'll be nothing but a faded memory of a faceless nameless Hufflepuff that was too stupid to know her place. This world Porter, is built on two things: Power and Desire, you have neither because you aren't supposed to. You aren't worthy to stand in front of either of us with your self righteousness and cheery disposition. People like you are the reason that people like me go mad and do terrible things because YOU...JUST...WON'T...LEARN...YOUR...PLACE!" Each of the last words were punctuated by a jet of red light fired directly at Porter aimed at her heart.
"Give it up little Lizzie...I'll kill you before you'd ever have a chance to try to protect yourself."

Lizzie barely had time to react she dove for cover but remembered to grab Noel, and pull her out of the danger. The spell she sent towards Danica just missed her, and she was thankful, she really didn't want to get hit by any of her own spells since that would prove their point. Lizzie was not planing on losing though she was thinking about what Noel had said, "Lizzie we can't do this. It's against the rules and you could get hurt. We both can't fight them and showing off your pride is not worth getting expelled!" but she couldn't help but feel if she backed down now she would always feel as if she had refused to keep to her beliefs.
"Noel get out of here now, whatever happens to me is not worth you getting hurt, and this is more than just pride. It is keeping you safe and getting us out of this alive. I will hold them off for as long as I can, just go." Lizzie said softly to her friend before standing up and turning back towards the pair of Slytherins. She knew if she truly was lucky her life would be spared and she hoped that at the very least if they were caught she wouldn't be expelled, though if it came to that so be it.
Lizzie then saw the red lights coming towards her and with a speed she didn't think she possessed, she dodged all of them though there were several close calls. Turning quickly around to look for something she saw several rocks on the ground not to far away and casting a silent Wingardium Leviosa and the rocks began to levitate and with a strong force sent them hurtling towards both of the Slytherin's, remaining to stay silent after Danica's words.
((I was about to pass of several time righting this I think I need sleep and sadly it is only 12:28am.))
